Parachutists Over Phorty Society - Australia

The first World POPS meet was held in Australia in 1989. This event gave POPS a world identity and a stronger world wide community. POPS has successfully held 15 World Championships in many wonderful countries  - Italy, Holland, Argentina to name a few. 

 

POPS has grown to include over 25 countries around the world and continues to expand. The World POPS meet is a chance to renew old friendships, make new ones and take part in  friendly competition with and against POPS from all over the World. 

 

There has been 3 Aussie Top POPS,  Bernie Shaw, John Kinton and Ian Robertson. The 4th and current Top POP for Australia is Gary Zuiderwyk. Gary is also World Top POP #11.
